Get started in minutes

📱 iPhone/iPad (TestFlight)

1. Open App Store, search TestFlight, install (free).
2. Open invitation link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/MkGRmYcY
3. If TestFlight asks for an invitation code, enter MkGRmYcY.
4. Tap Accept → Install. Open from TestFlight or Home screen.

🤖 Android (APK)

1. Download APK: topix.apk
2. If prompted, allow Install unknown apps for your browser/file manager.
3. Open your Downloads folder → tap topix.apk → Install → Open.

👤 Create Your Account

1. Create an account using Email and Password.
2. Choose a unique username.
3. Verify your email address — you’ll receive an OTP.
4. Enter the OTP in the app to complete signup.
5. After signup, you’ll land on the TOPix Home screen.

🚀 Getting Started

• Find games on the Home screen.
• Active games may be empty initially — join or create one to start.

🎯 How to Join a Game

🔢 Enter a Game Code

• Ask the game admin (host) for the code.
• Open TOPix → enter the code in the Join Game flow.

📱 Scan a QR Code

• Ask the host to show the QR code.
• Allow camera permissions if prompted and scan the code.

📩 Join via Invites

• Open Invites — your invite appears there if you were invited.
• Tap the invite and follow prompts to join.

➕ How to Create a Game

1. Tap Create Game.
2. Choose Friends Game (with friends) or Geo Game (location-based).
3. Fill in the required fields (name, theme, timing, etc.).
4. Tap Create Game.
5. Invite friends from the post-creation screen.
   • You can also invite later: open the game → tap the … menu (top right).
   • View game description, players, and options from the game screen.
6. Your new game appears under Active Games.
7. The creator becomes the admin (host).
8. The game runs until the configured end time.

1. Game is about to end
2. The game has ended
3. A user uploaded a photo

⚖️ How to Judge a Game

1. Open Judge Games and select a game to judge.
2. Review the uploaded photos.
3. If the game is still active, you can rate photos but cannot judge yet.
4. When the game ends, all players and the judge receive a notification.
5. The judging timer starts — the judge selects a winning image.
6. Winners appear under Completed Games.
   • The first tab shows the winning image.
   • All other images appear under Submitted Images.

🔧 Troubleshooting

• Location: Enable system location. iOS: Settings → Privacy → Location Services → ON; App → While Using. Android: Settings → Location → ON; App → Permissions → Location → Allow.
• Camera: iOS: Settings → App → Camera → ON. Android: Settings → Apps → App → Permissions → Camera → Allow.
• Photos/Storage: iOS: Photos → All Photos. Android: Permissions → Storage → Allow. Ensure 1GB free space.
• Notifications: iOS/Android: Allow notifications for the app; disable Do Not Disturb if needed.
• Uploads/Network: Check connection, switch Wi‑Fi/cellular, try again later.
• Crashes: Force close, restart device, update/reinstall.
